[PHOTOGRAPHY] As a photographer, I explore culture and document life, energy and style as iconography. My work focuses on identity and attitudes in portraiture, music, fashion, nightlife and landscapes.

[FINE ART] My mixed media work is created through meditative thought. Mediums include collage, sculpture and video. Many projects not shown here are currently evolving.

A note from Liz. August 2, 2014:

Working as a photographer, interacting with people intimately, I must navigate energy in order to create a desired image. Usually this is with someone I've just met, and only have a few moments with, to attempt to create something that lasts much longer. This transcendental interaction excites me and fuels me to create. In these moments there are raw energy exchanges, an organic process that flows in many directions. There are so many subtleties that are recorded in that fraction of a second that cannot be reflected upon in the actual moment. There is much more than meets the surface. Photography is a spiritual experience for me. Even the actual mechanics of capturing light is profoundly metaphoric. I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to interact with so many wonderfully different people, for more than half of my life. I am incredibly blessed to be working in a field that I love and enjoy, that continuously sparks my curiosity, expands my mind, challenges me, and pushes me to move forward and evolve as an artist. I thank all of my subjects, friends, clients and supporters for the trust and inspiration you've given me to create. I thank the universe, for being kind to me, and showing me what is possible.
